Is 7D's interface basically the same as the Rebel's?

Is 7D's interface basically the same as the Rebel's? We're trying to see how hard it is to move up from the Rebel to the 7D. I know it's semi-pro, but what does that do to the learning curve?

I'm sure the learning curve is not as bad as moving from a point-and-shoot camera to dslr.

I would, however, make sure that I'm using my Rebel to its fullest potential. There may still be a lot of life left in it before the need to upgrade to something like 7D.
