I shot this X-Men: First Class Spoof with the new Technicolor CineStyle picture profile (it was a 5d, as well).  I had done some initial testing when the profile first came out, but never shot a real project on it. This X-Men short is my first real world experience with the profile.

Ok, I know this is a Canon 7D site, but I thought this how-to on replacing the LCD cover on a Canon 5D Mark II was really useful!

My first attempt at a helmet cam, yielded ok results, but I wanted something even better.  The downside to all of this was cost, but it is very close to what I want now.

Here is a cool video for Trent Reznor's (NIN) side project How to Destroy Angels.  It was directed by Rupert Sanders.  It looks like it may have been filmed with a Canon DSLR, but it could be a Red camera, as well.  If someone knows for sure, send a link with the info.

Let's assume you have a script (not just an idea) and have gotten your pre production out of the way.  These are both incredibly important and should not be taken lightly, especially when you have no budget.  So you have an awesome film and all of your ducks are in a row, what do you bring with you to the shoot... or what is really necessary?
