Hi There
I was wondering if there was a way to utilize the EOS Utility program that comes with the 7D without connecting via USB. I read about the Canon WFT-e5a but I'm not certain that's what I'm looking for. I am looking to set my camera up for repeated timed shots (i.e. a photo every 30 seconds for a prolonged period of time), but will be doing it with a motorized rotating tripod. Obviously, if I have to connect the USB while doing so, it will end up tangling around the tripod as it rotates.
Does anyone know of a program/way to achieve the continuous shots on timed interval(s) without the USB connection? And/or if the WFT-e5a is, in fact, what I need? (Here's hoping not - that little guy has quite the price tag)
