My last camera had a setting where I could press the focus point button on the eye, then move the camera any where and the focal point would stay the same. I just recently got a Canon 7D and was wondering if that has the same function? I asked the guy at the camera store and he wasn't sure how to set that up.

Hi Julia
I'm exactly the same... I had a Fujifilm S100FS which was like that.
I'm struggling with this new camera which I only got 3 days ago to get good pictures in focus using the flash
wasted about 50 pictures this afternoon in auto mode using the flash as almost all out of focus.
