Forum Thread: Any advantages to buying kit or piece by piece?

I can get the 7d body for 1,050.00 plus tax. After a $250 rebate. I can't find a better deal anywhere. It's just the body, strap, charger, battery. Does the camera come with the viewfinder eyepiece? I can get an 18-135 lens for just over $300. Cheaper than most kits with the 18-55 lens which I don't want.

Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.
